Responsible for directing live newscasts, pre-recorded productions, completing pre-production graphics for newscasts and checking all sources prior to air. Works with the news producers to deliver clean and high energy newscasts. Additional Responsibilities include studio camera operation, set lighting, teleprompter operation, tape machine operation for promos and commercials, and cross-training in Chyron and the audio board. This person must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to climb ladders, build, paint, and erect television production sets. Must be able to lift 50lbs and carry large props and equipment. EOE M/F/D/V background screen required.
